David Low is a finance and investment executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and emerging markets. Over the course of his career, David has held senior roles with multinational organizations, working across North America, Europe, and Asia.
David spent a significant portion of his career in China, including senior leadership roles with Yum China, where his work encompassed financial planning, investor relations, and the execution of major strategic initiatives. His career has given him broad experience working across cultures and navigating the challenges facing large and complex organizations.
Since moving to Whistler, British Columbia, David has become actively involved in the local business and nonprofit community. He is on the Board of Directors of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce and with Community Futures Howe Sound, bringing his international experience to organizations focused on economic development, entrepreneurship, and community resilience.
David brings to the ICSW Board of Trustees a global perspective, extensive financial and strategic experience, and a strong interest in organizational governance and the long-term sustainability of mission-driven institutions.
David received his BA in Economics at the University of Chicago, and a MSc in Financial Economics at Oxford University. He lives in Whistler and spends his time chasing his three young children across ski runs and bike trails.
