Alec Ross
Alec Ross is the Senior Director of Clinical Practice at the Juvenile Protective Association in Chicago. In addition to being a part-time instructor at ICSW, I also am an adjunct at Loyola University Graduate School of Social Work.
AREAS OF INTEREST & APPROACHES TO PRACTICE
Primary interests include, but are not limited to, individual, couples and group therapy aimed at adolescents, young adults and adults. I do specialize in working with individuals experiencing issues related to substance misuse. I enjoy supervision and consultation with practitioners engaged in providing psychotherapeutic services to individuals across a wide age range, addressing a variety of life challenges. I have a deep appreciation for contemporary psychodynamic thinking, as well as a passion for Narrative Therapy.
