AINSLEY REBECCA THORNHILL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Ainsley Rebecca Thornhill was adopted by ICSW alum Dr. Sharon Glass when she was an infant. Dr. Glass, when describing her daughter, noted she had a strong spirit, keen sense of curiosity, wisdom and a wonderful sense of humor. She was eager to teach everyone she knew the best way to feed and care for pets and to be politically moral. She hoped to destigmatize mental illness and was an inspiration to all. She enjoyed researching a variety of topics, especially those related to animals and cared meticulously for several she rescued. She was a warrior for the socially vulnerable and never met an animal she did not like. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support to ICSW students who express plans and willingness to work with vulnerable populations.
