The Elisabeth Jacob’s scholarship is designed to support promising students who are dedicated to working with families challenged by poverty, immigration, or trauma.

Up to $3,500 per year

Only third year PH.D. students are eligible.

This is a one year scholarship.

Requirements and limits:

1. Faculty or instructor should submit a letter of nomination.

2. Student must be a full-time, rising third year, PhD student nominated by a faculty member.

3. Student must have completed two years of academic work and demonstrate excellence.

4. Student must work with families challenged by poverty and/or immigration.

5. Student must demonstrate need for scholarship assistance by submitting FAFSA application. Specific personal information on the student’s FAFSA application will not be shared with committee.

6. One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $3,500.
