Judith Aronson, PhD, LCSW

Judith Aronson, LSCW, is a faculty member at the Institute for Clinical Social Work where she teaches Self Psychology, serves as a theory mentor and dissertation committee member and provides clinical consultation. She is the faculty representative on the ICSW Scholarship Committee. Dr. Aronson has been an adjunct faculty member of Loyola School of Social Work.  

Dr. Aronson is a former board member of the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work. She currently co-facilitates the Couple Listserv Interest Group for the International Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work. Dr. Aronson is Governing Committee chair and a board member of Growing Home, an Englewood-based urban farm that utilizes organic urban agriculture as a vehicle for job training, employment, food access, and community development.  

AREAS OF INTEREST & APPROACHES TO PRACTICE

Dr. Aronson practices contemporary psychodynamic therapy with adults, couples and late adolescents. Her current interest is in incorporating intersectionality into her work.
