Robert M. Mardirossian, PhD - FAC Chair is on the faculty of ICSW and provides clinical consultation in addition to serving on the faculty advisory committee. In addition to maintaining a private practice, Robert is the executive director at Family Service of Winnetka-Northfield, where he leads and directs the operation and growth of this community-based social service agency that provides psychotherapy and psycho-educational programs to individuals and families. He is an adjunct faculty at Loyola University of Chicago School of Social Work and a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the State of Illinois Social Work Examining and Disciplinary Board. Dr. Mardirossian’s areas of clinical expertise are individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, couples therapy, and treatment of sexual dysfunctions. He is especially interested in the impact of technology on the development of one’s capacity to be alone.
