Cate Desjardins, PhD

Christina Peters, PhD, maintains a full-time private practice where she works with adults, children, couples and families. She also provides clinical consultation and supervision. Dr. Peters has taught methodology and theory at ICSW and in the CAPA program. She has presented at international conferences and published on the topics of subjective experience and the impact of neurodevelopmental differences.  

AREAS OF INTEREST & APPROACHES TO PRACTICE 

Subjectivity and individual, neurodevelopmental differences, especially as related to clinical work. Gender, sexuality, and culture in psychoanalytic thinking and clinical work. Child therapy and working with parents and families. The culture of the psychoanalytic field and its impact on training and clinical process.
