Methods in Counseling and Psychotherapy

Explore an introductory methods class that works towards helping students understand the principles of engaging in a helping relationship and understanding what is therapeutic from and within a psychodynamic perspective. In the broadest sense, the purpose of this course is to help students be reflective thinkers and to understand beginning clinical practice in all forms and what it means to help another person.
