Illinois Society for Clinical Social Work (ISCSW) Champions Support for the PEP Library Resource
The Illinois Society for Clinical Social Work (ISCSW) is proud to announce its ongoing support for the PEP library, a valuable resource for students and professionals at the Institute for Clinical Social Work (ICSW). Through this initiative, ISCSW continues its commitment to the growth and development of psychodynamic teaching and learning for clinical social workers and counselors.
ICSW deeply appreciates the contributions that have helped fund the PEP library this year. Your generosity plays a critical role in ensuring that students and staff have access to essential psychoanalytic materials, fostering an environment of learning that is both expansive and enriching.
With this support, ICSW is dedicated to maintaining the excellence of psychodynamic education for years to come.
**What is PEP?**
The PEP-Web is an expansive digital archive, encompassing some of the most influential works in psychoanalysis. From complete texts of 83 prestigious psychoanalytic journals to 100 classic books, the platform offers a treasure trove of resources for those interested in deepening their understanding of the field. Also featured are 124 insightful videos and the complete works of Sigmund Freud, including his 24-volume Standard Edition.
Spanning 111 years of publication, the PEP archive holds over 144,000 articles, 19,667 illustrations, and 1.30 million printed pages, making it one of the most comprehensive psychoanalytic libraries available. This vast collection is a cornerstone of learning for the ICSW community, and it continues to be a key resource in the education of future clinical social workers and counselors.
ISCSW is proud to stand alongside ICSW in this endeavor, ensuring the ongoing availability of the PEP library to enhance psychodynamic education and practice. Together, we are investing in the future of clinical social work, paving the way for innovative and impactful professional development.
